CRAFT YOUR CHANGE is an event that brings together good beer, good people and great causes.
Have you been brewing over volunteering, but aren’t sure where to start? In one night you’ll meet 15 great causes, enjoy delicious craft beer and find out where you can volunteer using your unique skills.
You might be passionate about cats, the arts, global warming... you’ll decide how you want to give back to the non-profits in the room. Whether you want to revive your public speaking experience earned in your high school Debate Club days or use your tech skills for good, at Craft Your Change you’ll find organizations willing to discuss how your skills and expertise can help them.
Here's how it will work:
1. Grab a beer* and some nibbles.
2. Think on it. How do you want to give your time? What skills do you want to offer?
3. Listen to a 1 min intro from each cause.
4. Chat with causes. Discuss your skills. Make an offer.
5. Repeat step one.
